Dandelion (an Adaptable Little One)
Many things are not taught in school. Many people call it learning from life experience. Education is not only from school, every second Allah educates us directly. Sometimes, life's challenges are tough to deal with. But, remember If you reach into your soul and you'll finally see the truth that a hero lies within you.
Adaptability is one of the most important skills in life. Allah very easily turns human circumstances around, a life that is not planned, a path that we cannot guess, and ending that is still a mystery.
What can we be proud of? Intelligence, wealth, position, many friends, a pure heart, is only a trust "amanah", is only a form of Allah's Love for His servant who is entrusted, one day Allah will easily take it back.
Adaptable, ready to change, like a dandelion. Beautiful wild flowers whose flower crowns and their seeds are often carried away by the wind and fall where they don't ask, but Allah chooses where they fall. Allah knows the best place, their potential, maybe it will give a much bigger impact if they can travel more around the world. The dandelion flowers tells us that life is shorts, delicate, fragile and you never know where the winds may take you.
Following the flow of life, receiving, growing, happy, and make a positive impact on society. There is no other word that deserves to be pinned other than the word "courage" for this beautiful flower. Are we able to adapt easily when Allah easily changes our lives from rich to poor, from health to illness, from happiness to sadness?
Think positively and take meaning so that we can enjoy the meaning of life, enjoy pain, enjoy sadness. A flower that is strong in a variety of conditions, able to grow wherever it is. Struggling, optimistic and strong in facing life's challenges.
Adaptability is a set of skills that includes a person's ability to adapt to changes in their environment. Being able to adapt means being able to respond to changes quickly and responsibly. Adapting also means having communication skills, creative thinking and problem solving.
There are many skills that must be learned such as communication skills, interpersonal skills, problem solving skills, teamwork skills, organizational skills, and curiosity. Insya Allah, I will discuss it in the next article.
Equally important is if we wants our children to have a personality like dandelions, then pay attention to this.
Pray sincerely that Allah can be their helper when we are no longer able to help, be a shalih parents, tell them that the Al-Quran is their best friend, wherever they will live, whatever work they do, in their condition, Al-Quran will always be in his heart, which will be a light when Ananda will meet the path of life full of twists and turns.
May Allah's protection always be with us and our children. Aamiin.
